My curiosity and creativity have led me into the experimentation with all sorts of art media.

CERAMIC

In 2015 I have the chance to experiment with ceramic in Sydney/Australia. I was amazed with the possibilities of shapes, textures, colours and use of ceramics. It was love at the first muddy hand.

WATERCOLOUR

The transparency and ways to depict light of watercolour really delighted me and I just had the urge to study and try it out. These are some of my experiments on this beautiful art technique.

DRAWINGS

For good and pleasant results on any painting method, I should master drawing techniques first. So I decided to develop my drawings skills. This is a selection of Sydney's Rushcutter's bay trees in graphite.

FURNITURE DESIGN

Just after University graduation, I took part on a national furniture design competition. Two of my projects were selected two years in a row and exhibited in the city of São Paulo. The animal chair project, with interchangeable pieces, caught the eyes of the most prestigious Brazilian toy company and it is in the company’s international catalog.

TEXTILE DESIGN

My partner and I started this business with the idea of promoting Australia through hand painted sarongs.

The patterns were created based on the native Australian fauna and Flora and were applied to the fabric through

the beautiful technique of batik and wax stamp. All the collection design is exclusive and each piece is unique.

PHOTOGRAPHY + PHOTOSHOP

Make a perfect playground for me, I use them for fun, for a way to express my art and ideas and obviously for creating visuals for commercial use. “Sydney soulburbs” is a collage of pictures of Sydney landmarks.

ILLUSTRATION

After visiting a cartoon show and loving it, I said to myself that I could do that as well. So that was the sparkle to “The human side of the angels” a series of hand drawn and painted illustrations. The idea behind it is that angels keep a fraction of their human personality.

FILMS

Producing and editing movies just make me loose track of time and space. The combination of image and sound is a powerful tool to touch someone’s soul and heart. “Three seasons in three acts” is an animation of pictures taken from the same angle of the same trees throughout six months, so in minutes we can see their incredible transformation.
