Alexandre Malosti is a talented artist who creates exquisite ceramic pieces, utilitarian and ornamental ones. He came to me saying that he was not happy with his previous logo because it was too harsh and technical.

The main idea for his new logo was that it should represent his art, be elegant and have an artistic personality. For the symbol, I created a brush stroke that resembles the Japanese design used on their beautiful traditional pottery. The signature is my calligraphy; I wanted the font to be as exclusive and artistic as possible.
The colours are earthy for obvious reasons. Gold was applied to the stroke as a reference to Kintsuji (gold cracks restoration) and because it symbolizes perfection, enlightenment, knowledge, royalty and immortality.
